Wedding planning is upon us. Over Christmas and New Years many lucky men "went to Jared's" and there were a-lot of kisses that "began with Kay". Whether it is a princess cut, round cut or ascher cut, they all mean one thing.... you are getting married! There are so many details involved with planning a wedding but in those details you can let your personality and style shine. The great thing about being a wedding photographer besides getting to photograph beautiful brides is seeing all the unique and creative weddings! Here are some of my favorite ideas for guest books.
This was from a clients wedding at Oneil House in Akron Ohio. She had a Tuscany themed wedding with an incredible bouquet by Savoire Fair in West Akron which featured grapes, sunflowers and wild greens. Instead of a guest book they had their guest use metallic paint pens to sign wine bottles!
This was from my wedding! I had a glass works cut a book from tempered glass and filled it with hand made paper. Guest could draw, write a poem, or a personal letter. This was one of my favorite things to look through after the wedding!
Some beautiful and funny messages we received!
Another great idea is to have your guest write a message on a chalkboard (available at any craft store) and then have your photographer or attendant take pictures of your guests with their messages creating a photo guest book!
