What an awesome past couple of weeks! I was able to capture newborns to 90 year olds and the whole breadth of life in between. We mostly think about photography for weddings, senior portraits and children. However having a professional photographer document events and milestones can make sure those memories last for lifetimes.
Why do I love photography so much? Well because I love photographs. My home is filled with them, I have them hanging on my walls, on my phone, on my computer everywhere I turn. (I once called my dad in a frenzy to email me pictures when I forgot to pack my favorites while traveling.) My family had a very rare genetic illness that caused most of my moms side to pass away. My Grandma died before I was born, My mom died when I was ten, my Aunt a year later and so on and so forth till I was the only one left on their side. The photographs I have of them are my most treasured keepsakes. Each one is special but often I wish I had some really great professional images of them at the various events of their lives.
Professional photographers can capture birthday's, family reunions, retirements, holidays and even travel with you. I am joining a client who was raised in Romania as she takes her daughter to visit the land and family she grew up with. How exciting that those special moments will be captured and preserved beautifully. I had another client who wants me come over for Christmas to capture their family enjoying each other and the holiday from gifts in pajamas to the family dinner. My husband and I are already planning to take a professional photographer with us when we travel with our someday in the future children.
Think about all the days whether a major holiday or just a family day at the park and think what it would be like to have them captured for all generations by a professional photographer.
